Abstract

This paper briefly describes the most relevant characteristics of the European hyperinflations in the years after the First World War and during the Second World War, the monetary reorganization measures that were available in each case and, finally, those that were adopted in Europe after the Second World War to deal with inflationary processes of moderate intensity.
