Expanding the geographical coverage of the financial system is one of the concerns of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic. In this sense, efforts have been made to achieve a diagnosis of this problem at the national level, which has led to specific economic policy measures. The study of the spatial distribution of the financial system within large urban agglomerations is, however, a topic little explored until now. In this document we carry out a comprehensive study of the geographical distribution of the supply and demand of financial services in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in order to obtain conclusions that serve as a starting point for making economic-financial policy decisions. intra-locality level.
