The north from the south
Keywords:
Argentine Crisis Of 2001, Crisis of 1930, Financial Crisis, Subprime CrisisAbstract
This article analyzes similarities and differences between the Argentine crisis and the ongoing crisis in developed countries centered on the United States. For most northern economists, the obligatory reference for the current crisis is the crisis of 1930. However, I argue here, the crises of developing countries should be a useful reference for thinking about the global crisis.
