Abstract

In this note we remember the recent pass away of Alfredo Canavese, who was part of our Editorial Board. Pablo Gerchunoff and Daniel Heymann pay tribute to the economist, which closes this issue of Economic Essays along with a reissue of his paper: “The structural hypothesis in the theory of inflation”, which was published in number 11 of this journal in September 1979.
